Social Media Training for Tourism Operators

Upper Hunter Country Tourism, in collaboration with Upper Hunter Shire and Muswellbrook Shire Councils are excited to announce that in March we will be running two social media workshops at Upper Hunter Shire Council Chamber’s training room on the 15th and 16th of March.

Workshop 1: ‘Introduction to digital marketing for tourism operators’

The first workshop will be 101 level and an introduction to digital marketing for
Tourism operators. This workshop will be a combination of theory and practical with the aim operators can go back to their businesses and implement learnings straight away and with a new level of confidence.

Date:  Tuesday 15 March 2016
Time:  12.30pm to 5pm followed by networking drinks AT The Royal Hotel
Cost:  UHCT members $25 + GST/Non-members $50 + GST (includes a light lunch)

Workshop 2: ‘Next step social media for tourism operators’

The second workshop will be for operators who feel more confident about using social media and online but who would like to know if they are making the most of their social media activities.

Date:  Wednesday 16 March 2016
Time:  8.30am – 1pm (including a 30 min light lunch at conclusion)
Cost:  UHCT members $25 + GST/Non-members $50 + GST (includes a light lunch)
