The Scone Chamber of Commerce and Industry will again be conducting the second Have a Scone in Scone event in 2023 from Saturday 28th October to Saturday 4th November.
Cafes, businesses, schools and all members of the Scone community have been invited to be part of the event to find the best Scone in Scone!
Scones can be entered in the competition categories of
- Traditional
- Pumpkin
- Cheese
- Fruit
All members of the Scone community can join the event by entering the Great Scone Bake-Off to find the best scone-maker in Scone. Local schools have been invited to participate with entries from preschoolers to secondary students.
The Scone branch of the Country Women’s Association will be judging the Great Scone Bake-Off at the Scone Public School’s Blooms Markets on Saturday 4th November. All entries must be six (6) scones of the one kind and be delivered to the Scone Public School by 9am on the 4th November.
A week-long series of activities to support the 2023 Have a Scone in Scone event will be published shortly.
