Cameron Lyle has a passion for creating beautiful gardens.

After studying Horticulture and Landscape Construction at Ryde TAFE, Cameron has undertaken various training programs through the Australian Institute of Horticulture, and Nursery & Garden Industry NSW & ACT Ltd (NGINA).

But, it took years of encouragement from friends and family before he finally took the plunge last year and established Evergreen Landscaping Pty Ltd.

Cameron believes in keeping up with industry standards, emerging trends and new technologies.

“I’ve worked for some amazing landscapers over the years and seen first-hand what works and what doesn’t,” he said.

Cameron and wife Melissa, a veterinary nurse at Pet Medical, moved to the Upper Hunter from Sydney’s north-west Hills district in 2018.

It was a good move. Since then, Scone Chamber’s newest member has hardly stopped. Evergreen’s landscape maintenance schedule is fully booked, while his landscape construction waiting list is growing by the week.

“I am currently working on a few irrigation overhaul jobs in town, a Japanese garden design and install in Muswellbrook, and a few properties requiring some TLC,” Cameron said.

“I’m so happy to be doing what I love in the Upper Hunter.  I couldn’t imagine doing it anywhere else.”
