The Chamber are here to offer support and guidance through the ongoing COVID19 situation. As such, we have put together the below guide to help inform you about what is available to support businesses during this time. We will update as required.

SUPPORT PACKAGES AVAILABLE

Government Loans and Grants Finder is a new tool to help you navigate the government support available for your business and family. You can also request a call from a NSW Services Business Concierge to help you navigate the huge and sometimes confusing arrange of business support packages on offer.

We cannot advise strongly enough, please do not self assess, instead, contact a Services NSW Business Concierge to help you through the process of government support. You can also submit your details to the COVID-19 business Hardship review panel.

COVID SAFETY PLANS AND COMPLIANCE

While COVID-19 Safety plans are no longer required, it is still encouraged to help to keep people in your business and community safe.

While many restrictions have been removed for businesses, there are a number of regulations still in place which are ever-changing and evolving. These relate to items such as mask-wearing, vaccination status, check-ins, density limits, isolation requirements etc. Be sure to keep an eye on the Business Covid Rules Page for all up to date details on rules and restrictions that apply to businesses throughout NSW.

MENTORING, ADVICE AND INSPIRATION

The Business Centre

The Business Centre is a provider of the Business Connect program (in which they are funded to provide fee-free services to businesses) they can offer mentoring, training, education and support in all areas of business. The service is free to use and they also offer some fee for service options too.

Business Connect 

Business Connect is a dedicated NSW Government program that provides advice to help individuals start, run, adapt and grow your small business. 

STAYING MENTALLY WELL

In these difficult times, it is more important than ever to look after our mental wellbeing. For assistance, you can refer to the recommended resources and organisations for support here. Also, remember you can also simply visit your GP for mental health assistance.

The Farmgate Support Program also provides free mental health and emotional support to farmers, farming families, local businesses and service providers affected by the drought, bushfires & COVID 19. You don’t need to have a referral you can just call Pam and make a time to chat.

COVID VACCINATIONS

Vaccinations are available at all local medical centres and some pharmacies. You can check your eligibility for first and second doses as well as boosters, and  book a vaccination for yourself online through service NSW and NSW Health here.

Or you call go directly through your GP or Pharmacy to see if they can book you in directly.

This set of resources is to help businesses promote COVID-19 vaccination to their employees. Use the resources to help spread the message of the importance of vaccination, encourage people to look for accurate information from trusted sources and lead by example in promoting the vaccination program.
