“Bringing women together to form a powerful voice in business for the future of the Upper Hunter”

The Scone Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the Women’s Network. A series of events is hoped to be held with the first event scheduled to be held at 6 pm on Thursday, 13th August 2020 at the Scone Race Club.

The last series of Scone Chamber Women’s Networking events were held back in 2016. Chamber Board Members Rachael McGuirk from Helloworld Travel Scone & Jillian Lennon from The Buttered Scone, are the leading force behind the re-emerged Women’s Network events. They feel it is important for women who are business owners or managers in the Upper Hunter to come together to form a united voice especially with all the economic developments planned for the region over the next few years.

With a headliner guest speaker already secured, Scone Chamber is looking forward to welcoming Lucy Turnbull AO to the event and hear her thoughts on the women’s role in effective planning for the future. Lucy Turnbull is an urbanist, businesswoman and philanthropist with a longstanding interest in cities, and technological and social innovation.

The upcoming event will be limited to 50 attendees due to COVID-19 event restrictions. Scone Chamber looks forward to working with Scone Race Club a great supporter of the event, to deliver this networking opportunity in a safe COVID manner. Social distancing guidelines will be in place.

Tickets are $25 per person for Scone Chamber Members and $35 per person for Non-Members. A complimentary beverage and canapes will be served on arrival.
